Service Engineer – MARINE PLUMBER / TECHNICIAN

Dear Sir or Madam,

After more than 17 years as a Certified Plumbing & Heating Technician in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, I am looking to take the next step in my professional career by joining the marine industry on the French Riviera.

Over the past three years, my wife and I travelled extensively across Europe in our campervan in search of the place where we wanted to build our future. During this journey, we fell in love with the Côte d’Azur. To support this long-term decision, we have already purchased an apartment in Èze-sur-Mer, allowing us to live just a few minutes from Monaco and the surrounding marinas.

Throughout my career, I have specialised in service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and technical installations. Independent working, technical problem-solving and maintaining high quality standards have been part of my daily work for more than seventeen years.

Although my experience comes from the building services industry, many of the systems I work with every day—such as water supply, pumps, pressure systems and pipework—are also essential on modern yachts. Working in the marine industry has been a long-term goal, and I am highly motivated to transfer my technical skills while continuing to learn and develop.

My current employment on an hourly basis provides flexibility for planning this transition. While an immediate start would not be possible, a move within the coming months can be arranged in coordination with my current employer.

Although my English is currently at a basic level, I am actively improving it every day and have also started learning French to integrate into my new home and working environment.
